After reading A Shopaholic Mom blog post about an old dresser she painted black and put in her entry way I really just had to do this. She did an amazing job!

So I found a similar french provincial dresser on Craigslist and got to the long process of sanding, priming, painting, and more painting. Even a little more sanding, priming, and painting.
Now I feel like it was worth it but at the time I was vowing to never do this much work again. Just picking out handles that I love was a 2 week long process.
